Christmas is a great time of year! Thanks for pointing that out. I don't think it's a lack of business that is dooming the post office. It's having a lack of business mentality. The government has hamstrung the post office to keep running like a government agency, yet at the same time forcing it to compete in the open marketplace. The pensions and unions are then next biggest factor in why to PO is in bad shape. They should move away from pensions and start a 401k. There isn't a company in this day and age that can afford to pay for individuals' health care and retirement after they no longer work for the company. Hello GM!
